Since 1952 Westlake Plastics has been a leading producer of thermoplastics stock shapes including extruded film, rod, sheet and tubing, ram extruded rod and compression sheet. We process a range of engineering and high-performance thermoplastic materials including PP, HDPE, HIPS, GPPS, ABS, PC, PPO, POM, PEI, PSU, PES, PPSU, PEEK, PAR, COC, COP, Amorphous PA, PVDF, PMP, and Implantable UHMWPE. As a leading supplier to the medical device market, we’ve continued to innovate and expand our capacity and capabilities. We’ve made recent investments to compression mold materials such as PEI, PSU, PES, PPSU, and PEEK and enhance our flexibility to offer shorter lead times and lower minimum order quantities. We’ve recently introduced Amidelux, our clear polyamide 12 sheet product ideally suited for applications where resistance to hospital disinfectants and cleaners is critical.

Geographic markets served include North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Life Science applications include medical instruments for the orthopedic and minimally invasive surgical device market, cardiovascular, diagnostics and imaging, and the biopharmaceutical process equipment market.
Certifications & Lot Traceability: Westlake Plastics provides a Certificate of Manufacturing Conformance (COMC) with all products sold. All product is serialized and traceable. Each production order is lot-controlled meaning it is made with a single lot of 100% virgin resin (no regrind). All production process details are monitored throughout the run and are also traceable.
