BaymedixTM CD 500 is widely tunable, allowing the target drug to be completely released in as little as a few hours, or up to several months. The tunability also means a range of substances can be released, from small molecule drugs to biopharmaceuticals. Release kinetics are first-order with little or no burst effect.
BaymedixTM CD 500
BaymedixTM CD 500 is a coatings platform for tailored drug release made using a unique blend of hydrophobic and hydrophilic polymers. Tunable release has been demonstrated with a variety of drugs, including sirolimus, paclitaxel, IL-1RA, dimethyloxalylglycine and dexamethasone.
