Established in 2001, Lithotech Medical is engaged in the development of complex nitinol wire-based technologies.

The company has a multidisciplinary team of technical experts, comprising of physicists, material and mechanical engineers, and regulatory and quality control experts.

Lithotech’s team has designed and developed around 100 products for customers across the globe.

Its services comprised of product design and development, product testing support, regulatory, engineering, preclinical and manufacturing.

The acquisition will allow Vention to expand its components and technologies for the development and manufacturing of medical devices for the interventional market.

Vention can now incorporate nitinol into customers’ design and development projects, in addition to supplying discrete nitinol components.

The company can also produce nitinol-based technologies for the manufacturing and assembly of devices from low-volume prototypes to high-volume production.

Vention Medical is involved in the designing, engineering and manufacturing of complex medical devices and components.

It offers components and services for interventional and minimally invasive surgical products, including catheters, reinforced shafts, balloons, extrusions, polyimide tubing, heat shrink tubing, PTFE liner tubing, molded components, and finished device assembly and packaging.
