The applications will be launched at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 102nd Scientific Meeting and Annual Assembly in Chicago, US, which will take place from 27 November to 2 December.
Part of the Ingenia family of digital MRI systems, the new suite of neuro-diagnostic applications provides physicians with a portfolio of tools to deliver neurological anatomies and multi-dimensional data that will help in diagnostic decision support.
The neuro-diagnostic applications will use Philips’ dStream digital broadband architecture technology to offer quality images with speed.
Features of the new suite includes black blood imaging that will provide high resolution 3D brain image with reduction of the blood signal,while 4D-Trance offers contrast-free dynamic (4D) imaging of the brain vascular anatomy.
MultiBand Sense enables simultaneous acquisition of multiple slices in the brain in fMRI exams, allowing accelerated neurofunctional scans at high speed and high resolution.
In addition, the new suite can be easily incorporated into the latest version of the Philips IntelliSpace Portal that will be introduced at the RSNA event.
