HEYER Medical will showcase Plexus TG's easy-to-use, scalable anesthesia documentation solution, Anesthsia Touch, which seamlessly integrates with HEYER's patient monitors and anesthesia delivery equipment.

Using the integrated solution, anesthesia providers can automatically capture physiological data and quickly document events and clinical actions during surgery.

"We are excited for the opportunity to present an established, reliable anesthesia EMR system with HEYER's anesthesia machines, as well as offering one-on-one demonstrations to conference attendees at this year's MEDICA 2016," said Klaus Schickhaus, president of HEYER Medical AG.

"We are pleased to team up with HEYER Medical at MEDICA 2016 to strategically exhibit the synergy between our two product offerings," commented Tony Mira, CEO of Plexus Technology Group. "This is an exciting opportunity and one that aligns our future goals."

In 1883, mechanical engineer Carl Heyer began to develop devices enabling healing vapors to be inhaled without the need to visit thermal springs.

Over the years his devices became increasingly compact and, thanks to industrial production, increasingly affordable, so that soon they could be shipped to doctors and clinics all over the world. Similarly, atomization of medication was developed, enabling targeted local treatment of respiratory tract diseases to be administered and further boosting the spread of inhalation technology.
