The new VAPR TRIPOLAR 90 Suction Electrode and the VAPR ARCTIC Suction Electrode are hand-held and energy-based devices that are designed for orthopaedic surgeons to ablate or coagulate targeted soft tissue.
VAPR TRIPOLAR 90 Suction Electrode has been designed for shoulder arthroscopy. It is intended for resection, ablation and excision of soft tissue, hemostasis of blood vessels and coagulation of soft tissue in patients requiring arthroscopic surgery.
VAPR ARCTIC Suction Electrode has been designed for hip arthroscopy. It is intended for resection, ablation and excision of soft tissue, hemostasis of blood vessels and coagulation of soft tissue in patients requiring arthroscopic surgery of the hip.
Both electrodes use firm’s COOLPULSE technology that enables fast and efficient tissue ablation, while generating equal or less heat.
