Commonwealth provides orthopaedic, physical therapy, and outpatient surgery services in the US including northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC areas.
SRS provides EHR technology and services via the unified desktop, the EHR, SRS CareTracker PM and SRS PACS.
Commonwealth Orthopaedics surgeon Mark Madden said the SRS EHR provides an approach to meaningful use, connectivity to health information exchanges, and secure sharing of medical data.
"SRS has developed the right tools and services to help our physicians effectively meet the government’s meaningful use requirements and prepare for the future without compromising our productivity or our time spent with patients," Madden said.
Commonwealth Orthopaedics COO Maureen Cook said using the SRS EHR, it became clear that this the technology that would best streamline their workflow and enable their physicians to qualify for the EHR incentives.
