Accutron manufactures nitrous oxide delivery systems and single-use nasal masks. It will be integrated into the dental portolio of Cantel’s healthcare disposables segment Crosstex International.

Based in Phoenix of Arizona, Accutron manufactures analgesia conscious sedation equipment and accessories, which can be used in a wide variety of dental office environments.

The company offers a complete line of nitrous oxide equipment and accessories, as well as compatible emergency oxygen equipment.

Accutron manufactures a range of brightly colored, scented and unscented single-use nasal hoods, which are free from latex.

The company reported revenues of around $20.5m in the last fiscal year ended on 31 December 2015.

The acquisition will expand Cantel subsidiary Crosstex International’s dental portfolio by adding single-use disposable product line.

In addition, the deal will allow Cantel to expand its presence in dental offices and offer a full bundled portfolio of equipment and consumables.

Based in Hauppauge of New York, Crosstex provides waterline treatment, biological monitoring, sterility assurance packaging and personal protection equipment (PPE) to medical, dental and veterinary practices.
