Based in Fort Myers of Florida, LeeSar offers supply chain and operational services to various hospitals in the region.
TraySafe is claimed to be the next-generation kit and tray management solution, which uses industry standard 2D labels and ultra-high resolution imaging to detect all the contents in a tray in seconds.
TraySafe also detects the items that are misplaced in the tray, in addition to finding missing or expired items.
Aethon CEO Aldo Zini said: "Aethon has a long history of delivering software and hardware products to manage hospital pharmacy logistics.
"TraySafe is an extension of that expertise, and working with LeeSar is an ideal partnership for Aethon and our TraySafe product."
Aethon is said to automate Intralogistics in hospitals through delivering goods and supplies using its TUG smart autonomous mobile robot.
It also manages pharmacy logistics using MedEx, which is a suite of software products used to track medication preparation and deliveries from the pharmacy.
