GloStream said doctors can use gloEMR to improve efficiency, productivity, and compliance with meaningful use criteria, which they must prove to collect Stimulus incentive funding.

gloStream chief information officer Piyush Khanna said the gloEMR 6.0 provides doctors with tools to ensure meaningful use compliance while also maximizing productivity via dashboards, personal health record integration, reporting and much, much more.

Additional, important key features within gloEMR include a fully customizable main dashboard homepage area, HL7-standard Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs) that can be sent and synched with other EMRs as well as personal health record applications such as Microsoft’s HealthVault.

The other features are gloLabs Clearinghouse which provides access to more than 150 Labs, Microsoft Reporting Services integration which offers the ability to create customizable reports based on clinical and financial information and E&M coding and support for SNOMED.
