Under the deal, Lima has acquired Zimmer Unicompartmental High Flex Knee (ZUK) and the Biomet Discovery Elbow System to market within the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
In addition, Lima has acquired Biomet Vanguard Complete Knee System to distribute in Denmark and Sweden.
Lima Corporate CEO Luigi Ferrari said: "The completion of this acquisition gives Lima a big step up in the knee and extremities markets. The Zimmer ZUK and the Biomet Vanguard Complete Knee System will open doors for the rapid expansion in the knee market.
"We are already a market leader in total shoulder arthroplasty and the Biomet Discovery Elbow System will allow us to expand our position," said Luigi Ferrari, CEO of Lima Corporate.
Lima’s product range comprises large joint revision and primary implants and complete extremities solutions including fixation.
