The SONIFI Interactive system will be installed in all patient rooms throughout St. Mary Medical Center to help educate, engage and empower patients.

"We needed to replace our current interactive system and SONIFI Health was clearly the right choice for our hospital," said Michelle Goodrow, Executive Director at St. Mary Medical Center. "The SONIFI system will integrate with several of our hospital systems to personalize and streamline the care process for each patient."

"It's a privilege to partner with St. Mary to further advance their efforts to continually improve the experience and health outcomes among their patients," said Bob Sullivan, SONIFI Health General Manager.

"St. Mary has a deep focus on improving health within the Apple Valley community and the SONIFI Health System provides patient engagement and enablement resources that will help in achieving this goal."

Through integration with Meditech EMR, the SONIFI interactive TV system can automatically prompt and deliver video and medication education specific to the patient's condition and treatment. Patients will be able to order meals from their TV through integration with Computrition.

Patients can also complete questionnaires and submit requests through the TV which are routed to the care team through integration with the Vocera nurse call system. Additionally, St. Mary will now be able to provide patient orientation videos, entertainment, music, as well as relaxation and spiritual content in several languages.

SONIFI Health interactive patient technology inspires active patient participation along the care continuum for positive behavior change and improved outcomes.
