The event will take place in San Francisco in January 2017.
Developed for biomedical instrumentation manufacturers, the new camera features the first scientific-grade backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor that offers the highest quantum efficiency (QE).
For biomedical applications, BSI technology’s extreme QE will enable the new camera to deliver new depths of sensitivity to any imaging or detection application.
With a combination of extreme sensitivity, low noise and high frame rates, the new camera is an ideal solution for low-light imaging.
The camera’s near-perfect QE enables to collect all available light, maximizing the measurable signal from the experiment or assay while minimizing cellular photo damage.
It can capture 41 frames per second with 16-bit images and 82fps with 12-bit images.
