Earlier this month, the company received 510(k) approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the GM85 digital radiography system.

With 555mmm narrow width and 349kgweight, the GM85 digital radiography system provides easy access around tight spaces, including elevators.

A collapsible column provides users clear visibility when moving the system and expands access to smaller spaces.

The system’s source to image distance (SID) guide helps in detailed device positioning with multiple SID settings. S-Align shows the detector’s angle to the tube head unit (THU) for precise alignment to enhance image quality.

Samsung is also exhibiting a range of medical imaging solutions from premium mobile digital X-ray to advanced ultrasound systems at the event.

The company is showcasing advanced GC85A system at the event. It features upgraded stitching technology that can reduce process time by about 31% compared against the original system.

Samsung is also exhibiting BodyTom and CereTom portable systems, which can be used in a range of market applications such as mobile stroke units, brachytherapy suites and proton therapy centers, deep brain stimulation and even veterinarian hospitals.

In addition, the firm is showcasing latest CeuS+ contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging solution, and S-Detect ultrasound breast imaging solution.
