Under the agreement, DS WorldMed received rights to distribute RevVac safety syringe in South America.
The RevVac auto retractable vacuum safety syringe utilizes a patented technology in which a vacuum causes the needle to retract into the barrel of the syringe or device after an injection is administered or blood is drawn.
The safety syringe also helps in stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS and other blood borne diseases by eliminating accidental needle sticks and the reuse of contaminated needles.
DS WorldMed CEO David Draper said the fact that they are able to play a significant role in the launch of the RevVac Auto-Retractable Vacuum Safety Syringe in South America is a huge win for them.
