The Kneehab XP system comprises a conductive garment and a hand-held controller that delivers patented Multipath stimulation to the quadriceps area of the thigh.

Kneehab, with TENS capability, is cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is indicated for muscle re-education of the quadriceps, increasing range of motion of the knee joint, prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy in the quadriceps, early post-surgical quadriceps strengthening, improved post-surgical knee stability secondary to quadriceps strengthening, and increasing local blood circulation.

The Kneehab, with the addition of TENS programs, is also cleared to provide an adjunctive therapy to reduce the level of pain and pain symptoms associated with osteoarthritis, symptomatic relief of chronic, intractable pain, and an adjunctive treatment in the management of acute, post-surgical or post-traumatic knee pain.

The study of the Kneehab has demonstarted to be effective as an adjunct therapy for patients who are pre- and post-surgical for total knee arthroplasty (TKA), sports-related injuries including Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) repair, osteoarthritis, and knee joint conditions like patella femoral pain syndrome (PFPS).
